Coach. is run by Peak Performance Consultants Ltd. Each coach who uses Coach. is responsible for their clients' information, and we look after it on the coach's behalf. These are the companies that help us do that. We give coaches at least 30 days' notice by email before adding or replacing one. Transfers outside the UK are covered by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Companies that handle client information

  • Supabase (on Amazon Web Services)

    Database, sign-in and file storage.

  • Vercel

    Hosts the coach website.

  • Google Cloud

    Prepares training videos for playback.

    Where: London, UK

  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging

    Delivers notifications to Android phones.

    Where: Global

  • Apple Push Notification service

    Delivers notifications to iPhones.

    Where: Global

  • Google Workspace

    Account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset) and support email.

    Where: EU and US

Companies that handle coach billing only

  • Stripe

    Takes coaches' subscription payments. Receives coaches' billing details, never client information.

Services that receive no client information

  • Open Food Facts and FatSecret: food look-ups by barcode or search words, sent without anything that identifies the client.
  • YouTube, Vimeo and Loom: exercise demonstration videos chosen by the coach. When a client plays one, their phone connects to that service directly, which can see the phone's internet address.
  • Apple Health and Health Connect: run on the client's own phone. Readings reach the platform only for the types the client allows.
