Coach Terms
Version 2026-10-07
1. About these terms
The Coach. platform is run by Peak Performance Consultants Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 13914529), registered office 31 Parkwood Gardens, Calverley, Pudsey, LS28 5PJ, England ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you create a coach account and use the coach website and the client app with your clients.
You use the platform for your business, so these terms are a business agreement. Consumer protection rules for individuals buying for personal use do not apply to it.
2. Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You confirm that you hold the qualifications and insurance that your coaching services require, and that your advice stays within them. The platform supports coaching; it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
3. Free trial and fees
Your first 14 days are free, and no card is needed to start. After that the plan costs £50 a month, which includes 15 active clients, plus £4 a month for each additional active client. Paused and archived clients are free.
Payments are taken monthly in advance by our payment provider, Stripe. The number of active clients is checked daily and applies from your next monthly payment.
If your trial or subscription ends unpaid, or a payment fails, your account becomes read-only for 14 days: you can view everything but not make changes, and your clients can keep using the app. After that the coach portal is locked until you subscribe. Your clients' records are not deleted.
We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
4. Your clients and their data
You decide which clients to coach and what information to collect from them, so you are the controller of your clients' personal data under UK data protection law. We process that data on your behalf to provide the platform, under our data processing terms, which form part of these terms.
Training, nutrition, body measurement and health information is special category data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and a valid condition for processing it (usually your client's explicit consent), and for giving your clients your own privacy information.
We keep client data within your coaching business: other coaches and their clients cannot see it. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading; do not try to access another coach's or client's data; do not share your account; and do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the platform.
Only invite people you are coaching, and remove clients you no longer coach.
6. Shared content and food data
The exercise library, food and ingredient data, and education articles are shared across the platform to support your coaching. Food data comes partly from third-party sources, including Open Food Facts, and may contain errors. Check important values against the product label.
You remain responsible for the programmes, nutrition targets and advice you give your clients.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available and your data safe, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance and improve or change features. We will tell you in advance about changes that materially reduce what your plan includes.
8. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or to protect clients or the platform. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right first.
When your account ends, you can ask us for an export of your clients' records within 30 days. After that we delete or anonymise the data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for loss of profit, business or goodwill, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
10. General
We may update these terms. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of material changes, and the version you accepted applies until then.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
